At Heartland Elementary, all students are encouraged to participate in acts of community service. Students who record 26 or more hours will be recognized with the Blue Valley Volunteer Service Award.

For community service performed OUTSIDE of the school and to ensure your student is properly credited with his/her hours of service, please follow the steps listed on the Heartland PTO website in your families account.  Activities that occur at Heartland will be recorded by the school on your student's account. For recognition in May 2024, hours must be between May 1, 2023 and May 3, 2024.
