Dr. Gretchen Anderson

Dr. Gretchen Anderson has opened the newest Blue Valley elementary school as the principal of Aspen Grove.  Anderson is a successful administrator with twelve years of experience in the district as principal at Oak Hill Elementary and Wolf Springs Elementary.

In 2017, Dr. Anderson led the charge in opening Wolf Springs Elementary and has that well needed experience of opening a new school. An enthusiastic leader who is excited about building a strong new school community. She has a vision for creating an integrated learning center focused on connectedness, community and educational excellence. 

Anderson received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her masters from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2010, she earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, with an emphasis on Curriculum and Teaching from the University of Kansas.
