TESTING

  • AP COURSES AND EXAMS

Taking the Advanced Placement exam is an important part of all AP courses. Scoring well on an AP exam may earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition. The AP website provides more information about the AP program. Also, check AP credit policies for information about how colleges and universities accept AP scores for college credit.

    AP Exam Registration-3 step process

The deadline to register and pay for AP exams for yearlong AP classes is November 8, 2019.

    • AP exams cost $106 each.  See Mrs. Hadley if you think you may qualify for a fee reduction.

    • Students may be allowed to register late but will be charged a $40 late registration fee per exam by College Board.

    • Exams will again be administered at BV Hilltop Learning Center.

    • Students enrolled at JCCC or Baker University for dual credit do not need to take the AP exam.

    • Students will be allowed to cancel their exam registration after the November 15 deadline, but will be charged a $40 cancellation fee per exam by College Board.

    • Registration for spring semester AP courses will have a separate registration deadline in early March.
