MATH SUMMER LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
For the summer of 2024, the mathematics department at Blue Valley Northwest wants to encourage all students to keep their math skills fresh. We hope you can find time this summer to complete the appropriate review to help prepare you for your next math class. SUMMER MATH PACKETS
In addition, we will provide a great end of summer opportunity for your student(s). The BVNW Husky HeadStart math program will be offered on August 5th – 6th. The program is offered to students taking Algebra 1, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus or Calculus next year. BVNW Husky HeadStart is designed for those students who want to have a stronger start in their upcoming math course. The brochure (in the summer packet folder) indicates the number of days, time and cost for the workshop that meets the needs of your student.
For example, if your student was in Geometry during the 2023-2024 school year, and is enrolled in Algebra 2 for the 2024-2025 school year, they should attend the Algebra 2 Husky HeadStart.
Please contact Karen Stohlmann with questions/concerns regarding BVNW Husky HeadStart. [email protected]
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
BVNW ELA classes do not have a formal reading assignment for summer, but we encourage all students, regardless of grade level or course selected for the fall, to read over the summer.
