Check out what the fourth graders will know after the first half of the year!
I can: locate and match all of the South American countries.
I can: listen to sentences and recognize ten pictures of geographical features.
I can: say three sentences using the structures "I/he/she goes to the..."
I can: recognize time to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour on five clocks.
I can: say five numbers between 0-100 out of order.
Aside from these assessed skills, the fourth graders will also learn and work on the following skills.
Colors: I can tell you what colors are dark and what colors are light.
Classroom objects: I can tell you what classroom objects I need.
Story telling: tell you a story about two friends in a dessert.
Culture: I can tell you what a posada is and how it is celebrated.

Practice at home!
I have attached a list of the monthly assessments and a review for you to practice what we are doing at home! The assessments will typically be at the end of the month and we will have lots of practice in class. This way you can see what we are working on and can help your child with the new skills we are learning!
