COVID-19
-
According to Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) school guidelines, students and staff will only be excluded from school and work if the student or staff member is COVID positive (test or physician-diagnosed).
Recommendations include an exclusion for 5 days after the onset of symptoms or the date of diagnosis/test. Individuals are recommended, but not required, to wear a mask on days 6-10 upon their return. Any individual who is sick is encouraged to stay home. Individuals need to be fever-free without the aid of fever-reducing medication for 24 hours to remain or return to school.
COVID-19 TESTING
-
The district no longer hosts a testing clinic on district grounds. School nurses have a limited supply of COVID-19 tests if staff or students need a test. Individuals are responsible for delivering tests to MAWD Headquarters at 11070 Strang Line Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215, between 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
