  • HOUSEHOLD ECONOMIC SURVEY (HES)

Previously Free & Reduced Meal Program

As a result of extended USDA funding opportunities, ALL students enrolled in Blue Valley are allowed one free breakfast meal and one free lunch meal per day until the last day of the 2021/2022 school year. The district is only able to provide free meals to students who are enrolled in Blue Valley School District.

During the 2021/2022 school year, we have been utilizing the Household Economic Survey for financial assistance with school fees and busing. If you are still needing assistance this year, please print out a paper application and email to Bobbi Valverde, bvalverde@bluevalleyk12.org.

During the 2022/2023 school year we will be using the standard “ Free and Reduced Meal Program” which a new application is required each school year to qualify for benefits.  Online and paper 2022/2023 applications will be available on July 17, 2022.  Families are encouraged to complete the application prior to school starting on Aug. 17, 2022, to continue to receive financial assistance with meals, district and bus fees.

2022/2023 Kindergarten families:  Please wait to apply for the Free & Reduced meal program until July as we are not able to add your incoming kindergarten student until the new school year begins.
