  • We understand that families may need assistance due to temporary financial difficulties.  The following list provides a variety of local and state resources that are designed to provide support during these times.  

     

    Free and Reduced Lunch Program 

    The Free and Reduced Meal Program is an annual program and a new application is required each school year to qualify for benefits. This online format is quick, easy, and confidential. 

     

    Blue Valley Food Pantry

    The Blue Valley Food Pantry is run by high school students with disabilities who are learning work and communication skills. When you come shop at the Blue Valley Food Pantry, you will be greeted by special education students and their job coaches. The Blue Valley Food Pantry is an affiliate of the Harvesters Food Network and partners with Cosentino's Market. We offer a client choice shopping experience by appointment only for families with children in the Blue Valley Schools and Blue Valley employees.

    Sleepyhead Beds is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2010.  They take gently-used, donated beds and bedding and distribute them to Kansas City area children and families in need, free of charge.

     

    Level Up! Make More Money - Programs offered for high-demand careers in construction, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing to individuals 17+ years old or high school graduates who need skills for employment paying $45,000 or more annually.
