WIFI AT HOME

  • POWERUP + WIFI

Blue Valley School District provides middle and high school students with a MacBook or Chromebook to use at school, home, and throughout the summer. We want students to be successful with their studies, research, projects, and homework. Access to the internet is necessary to accomplish many of these tasks. We are committed to ensuring equitable access for all students.

We understand that sometimes access to the internet, when not at school, is crucial. Below are a couple options for families who may need additional support when it comes to access to the internet.

1MILLION PROJECT (FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY)

Our school district is participating in the 1Million Project. The 1Million Project is a non-profit initially started with Sprint to provide high speed internet to 1 million students. This means your student may be eligible to receive a free wireless device and free high-speed mobile Internet service (for up to four years) while in high school. This internet scholarship hotspot is only available to those who do not have internet access at home. FAQ. Unfortunately, some areas of coverage may not work with these devices.

Contact your school administrator for additional information to get started.

    HOTSPOT FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT

Similar to the 1Million Project students in our middle schools that are eligible will also be provided a hotspot. If you do not have internet access at home and your child is in middle school, please contact your school administrator for more info.

HIGH SPEED LOW COST INTERNET OPTIONS
