FACILITY PLANNING COMMITTEE

  • ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

     

    The Facility Planning Committee examines and evaluates boundary alternatives and recommends options for a comprehensive boundary master plan to the Board of Education. This committee, composed of patrons, Board of Education members and district staff, typically meets every two years to review projected facility registrations and recommend boundaries for schools and on an as-needed basis. The committee will also meet when the district is opening new school facilities.

     

    FACILITY PLANNING COMMITTEE UPDATE

     

    The committee reconvened in November to review Boundary Criteria for Elementary 24 and Blue Valley’s 5 Year Enrollment Projections. The Board approved the boundary recommendation at the December 13, 2021 Board of Education Meeting.

    • Review facility registrations

     

    • Recommend boundaries on an as-needed basis
